NORMA Group is covering the cost of the classes of around EUR 8,000.

As an international company with employees from over 40 nations, we view cultural diversity as a core value. Through our social commitment, we want to support the city of Maintal and promote interaction of its citizens. German courses and internships for refugees in our community will contribute to this,” says Werner Deggim, CEO of NORMA Group.

Christine Mayer-Simon from the Working Group Asylum Maintal adds: “These young people would otherwise have no access to either language training or vocational orientation. The courses will be able to help them to successfully integrate them into society.” The Working Group had been offering German language courses on a volunteer basis. Around 322 refugees currently live in Maintal. The municipality will host additional 142 immigrants by the end of this year.
