Group-wide management of corporate responsibility

Corporate responsibility (CR) is a core component of NORMA Group’s strategic orientation. The CR Policy describes NORMA Group’s understanding of it and key CR topics. It is based on the principles of the UN Global Compacts and the Sustainable Development Goals. Further information on the organization and management of corporate responsibility can be found in NORMA Group’s CR Report.

Corporate Responsibilty targets

NORMA Group has set measurable targets in the three strategic areas of action for 2021. The targets are based on the company's most important sustainability issues and are managed on a global, regional and local level.

NORMA Group's climate target is of particular importance: by the end of 2024, NORMA Group wants to reduce its annual emissions to 44,343 tons in absolute terms. This goal is in line with the recommendations for Scope 1 and 2 by the science-based targets initiative.

Local targets

Indicator:

Voluntary attrition rate varies strongly between locations (e.g. because of cultural differences). From the NORMA Group's point of view, a global target is therefore not expedient.

Sustainable Development Goals

The CR Roadmap is based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, among other aspects. The goals cover economic, ecological and social issues and each consist of individual indicators that make implementation measurable. By implementing the CR Roadmap, NORMA Group can also contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
