Our contribution to eco-friendly electric vehicles In the pursuit of sustainable and environmentally conscious automotive solutions, our materials are carefully selected to be recyclable. We contribute to the eco-friendliness of electric vehicles, ensuring a responsible choice for the future of automotive development.
As we strive to maximise vehicle efficiency and sustainability, every gram counts. Our multilayer thermoplastic pipes offer a significant advantage by reducing weight by 30% compared to conventional elastomer pipes. Our thermoplastic lines are not only lightweight and easy to process but can also contribute to carbon neutrality, depending on the material you select. In addition to this, when assembling traditional rubber hoses in your cooling system you need to fix the Quick Connectors with clamps or crimp rings. You don’t need these accessories when using thermoplastic fluid lines, so the weight advantage is getting even bigger. By lowering the overall weight of the vehicle, less drive energy is required, reducing the load on battery cells and thereby increasing the range of electric vehicles.
