The exhaust flange has originally been developed by ABA in close cooperation with automotive designers and equipment manufacturers. This clamp assures an efficient and ideally distributed clamping around the pipe in order to limit the risk of leakages and to withstand the vibrations. With their very wide range,the standard flanges are suitable for the majority of vehicles. Stainless steel flanges are available on request. The self-locking type of screw head is supplied as standard for all clamps with a thickness of 2 und 2.5 mm; this allows them to be fitted ergonomically using just one hand. The clamps with a thickness of 1.5 mm are supplied with a screw featuring a hexagonal head.
