NORMA Group recognized with the PACCAR Award

Auburn Hills, USA/Juarez, Mexico, 7 October 2015 – NORMA Group, a global market leader in engineered joining technology, has been awarded the 50 PPM Award by the US automobile manufacturer PACCAR Inc. (“PACCAR”) for its sites in Auburn Hills, USA, and Juarez, Mexico. The company received the PACCAR Award for 2014 for the fourth year in a row.

The criteria for the 50 PPM Award include the supplier’s performances over rolling six-month periods. Furthermore, aspects such as the innovative nature of its products, its Production Parts Approval Process or PPAP for short, the number of warranty claims and timely delivery are also evaluated. The prerequisites for being nominated include quality systems in accordance with QS-9000, ISO/TS 16949 or ISO 9001 for 2008 and passing the PACCAR suitability test.

NORMA Group has been supplying PACCAR with V-band clamps, multifunctional UniStrap clamps, T-bolt clamps, worm drive clamps and fluid components since 2006. These joining elements are manufactured at the plants in the US and Mexico, among other sites.
