NORMA Group delivers efficient irrigation solution for new residential development in Istanbul

Maintal, Germany, June 14, 2022 – NORMA Group is equipping the gardens of a new residential development in Istanbul with an extremely durable and efficient irrigation system. The NORMA PC drip irrigation system uses up to 70 percent less water than the more conventional water-intensive solutions currently available on the market, resulting in efficient and resource-friendly irrigation.

In the process, we offer our customers tailored irrigation systems that save water while at the same time reducing maintenance costs.”

The NORMA PC dripline is made of 100 percent recyclable polyethylene tubing and features a pressure compensation function that ensures uniform water distribution when pressure fluctuates. Utilizing emitters, the NORMA PC dripline facilitates the precise control of water flow and targeted irrigation. Water is channeled precisely to the root zone and evaporation of water due to solar and wind effects is minimized. Plants are optimally watered and can better absorb the moisture and take root deeper in the earth. The self-flushing emitters also prevent dirt from clogging the system during operation.

The new development project comprises 509 houses, a garden complex, several shopping facilities as well as kindergartens and sports facilities. Within the scope of the project, more than 160 kilometers of NORMA PC high-performance dripline were laid to irrigate plants and bushes uniformly and in a resource-efficient manner. The concrete design of the drip irrigation system was carried out together with NORMA Group's longtime distributor, SGS Sulama.
