“The importance of efficient, leakage-free water supply is steadily increasing throughout the world,” said Dr. Michael Schneider, CEO of NORMA Group. “Our joining technology ensures that water is transported without loss to where it is needed. By expanding our cooperation with the leading landscape distributor in the US, we can now even better reach end customers for our high-quality fluid-handling solutions.”

The Pro-Span repair coupling has a number of built-in features that make installation easy, such as a patented “Grip Lock” system for a secure rotational locking of spigot to body, a dual seal providing extra protection against leaks, and glue wells to prevent excess glue from accidentally gluing together the repair coupling. The PVC coupling is corrosion-free and connects pipes of different materials such as steel, plastic, copper or brass.

With the Pro-Span repair coupling, NORMA Group offers both the wholesaler and its end customers extensive customer service. In addition to regular staff trainings, it provides videos that illustrate how to install the Pro-Span repair coupling.

The Pro-Span Expansion Repair Coupling is part of the product portfolio of NDS, a subsidiary of NORMA Group in the U.S. Since 2012, NORMA Group has been expanding its joining solutions business in the growth market of water management. Through acquisitions in Malaysia, Australia, India and the U.S., NORMA Group has strategically extended its market position and product portfolio. In financial year 2018, the water management business accounted for around 17 percent of NORMA Group's total revenue of around EUR 1.1 billion.
