Maintal, Germany, September 1, 2022
NORMA Group today welcomes ten new apprentices and three dual study program participants at company headquarters in Maintal. Over the course of the next two to three-and-a-half years, the secondary school graduates will undergo training to become highly sought-after professionals. The ten apprentices include two future mechatronics technicians, a future process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology, a future tool mechanic and a future industrial mechanic. Two new recruits opted for apprenticeships as machine and plant operators. In addition, a future industrial clerk and a future specialist for warehouse logistics are also embarking on their training journeys. One apprentice is learning to become an IT specialist with a focus on systems integration. Furthermore, three young adults will complete the dual courses of study in business administration and mechanical or industrial engineering.
“We are absolutely delighted that, once again this year, so many motivated and promising young professionals have decided to start their careers at NORMA Group”, says Andreas Apel, Managing Director of the production site in Maintal. “Young talents inject fresh energy into our company and are essential for its success. We are therefore proud to be able to support our apprentices as they start their careers.”
NORMA Group employs a total of 26 apprentices in Germany in industrial-technical and commercial professions. They benefit, among other things, from an in-house training workshop where the trades for the industrial-technical area are taught from the very beginning. Every year, the company offers at least 15 apprenticeships or dual study program placements. Current job openings and additional information can be found at the NORMA Group Career Portal.
