NORMA Group recognizes steel and plastics suppliers for outstanding quality

NORMA Group has recognized three of its suppliers for outstanding quality and first-class delivery performance in 2023 with the “Supplier Recognition Award”. The awarded partners are Ascend Performance Materials LLC (“Ascend”) in China, Norder Band AG (“Norder Band”) in Germany and Olympic Steel (“Olympic”) in the USA.

Ascend, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of the plastic polyamide 66, has been supplying a NORMA Group plant in China since 2020. NORMA Group uses it to produce connectors for electric vehicles and other joining components. In financial year 2023, Ascend impressed with its excellent customer service, high quality performance and outstanding technical expertise.
Norder Band is the only supplier to have received the “Supplier Recognition Award” for the third time for outstanding performance in the areas of service, delivery performance and product quality. The company has been supplying NORMA Group’s plants in Germany, Czech, Sweden, the United Kingdom and Portugal with stainless steel slit strips since 2001. These strips are used in the production of metal clamps, including the TORRO hose clamp.
Olympic has been supplying NORMA Group plants in the USA and Mexico with rolled stainless steel for ten years. The steel is used in most of the clamps manufactured in those countries. In 2023, the company stood out for its above-average performance in the areas of supply chain, quality and costs. Olympic has received the “Supplier Recognition Award” for the second time this year.
NORMA Group has been presenting the “Supplier Recognition Award” since 2014 as recognition for exceptional performance in the areas of quality and delivery reliability from suppliers in Europe, America and Asia.
