Günter Hauptmann to chair NORMA Group’s Supervisory Board

NORMA Group has won a major contract in the industrial applications business. The company is supplying one of the largest home improvement and hardware retail chains in the US. This home improvement retailer will purchase more than five million BREEZE worm drive hose clamps per year for distribution in its home improvement stores. NORMA Group is thus continuously expanding its market share in the DIY segment in the US. The aim is to strengthen the industrial business and generate further growth.

NORMA Group has won a major order from an industrial customer to supply almost three million dishwashers with custom-made metal TORRO clamps annually starting in the fourth quarter of 2024. The customer is a leading global manufacturer of home appliances. NORMA Group is currently expanding its business with industry applications and aims to generate a larger share of sales in this area in the medium term. 

NORMA Group intends to focus even more strongly on its core business as a market leader for joining technology. The Management Board decided to initiate a divestment process for the global business activities of the strategic business unit Water Management.
