NORMA Group positions itself among the international market and technology leaders for advanced and standardized joining as well as fluid handling technology. NORMA Group’s product portfolio includes more than 40,000 joining products and solutions for many different cross industry applications. The focus is on innovative solutions for promising end markets by focusing on the strategically important areas of Industry Applications, Water Management and Mobility & New Energy. 

With its products and solutions, NORMA Group actively supports its customers and business partners in responding to key global megatrends such as climate change and the increasing scarcity of resources. High customer satisfaction is the foundation of NORMA Group’s continued success. The main factors here are the Company’s customer-specific system solutions and the global availability of its products, combined with reliable quality, delivery reliability and well-known brands.

NORMA Group is organised in three strategic business units: 

Industry Applications

Operational excellence with fasten and fluid solutions for distributors, industrial OEMs and project businesses.     

Water Management

Specialises in the transport, distribution and management of water to ensure an efficient, safe and reliable utilisation.

Mobility & New Energy

Support the evolving and transforming mobility & transportation landscape.

 


In these three strategic business units, NORMA Group supplies its customers via two distribution channels: 

Standardized Joining Technology

via wholesalers and sales representatives.

Engineered Joining Technology

directly to original equipment manufacturers.

In the two strategic business units Industry Applications and Water Management, NORMA Group is dealing with both distribution channels. On the one hand, NORMA Group focus on marketing a broad portfolio of high-quality, standardized branded products via the Standardized Joining Technology distribution channel. On the other hand, NORMA Group is also engaged in Engineered Joining Technology, offering custom solutions designed to fulfil the needs of OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) in specific projects.

The strategic business unit Mobility & New Energy in the Engineered Joining Technology distribution channel comprises sophisticated, individually customized joining technology, and is characterized especially by close development partnerships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). NORMA Group’s central development departments and local resident engineers work together with the customer during multi-year project phases to develop solutions for specific industrial challenges.

Strategy

NORMA Group runs a continuous improvement program “Step up” to make its operating business even more efficient and productive, therefore enabling further profitable growth. The program is divided into two core elements: Growth and Operational Efficiency. In particular, Step Up includes measures to increase growth plans for the three strategically important areas of Industry Applications, Water Management and Mobility & New Energy as well as operational efficiency. In particular, resources – such as in research and development – should be used with the aim of achieving the best possible economic effect. All activities will focus even more strongly on the needs of customers.

Water Management

In Water Management, we are the industry's primary source for solutions in Storm Water Management, Efficient Landscape Irrigation, and Flow Management for the residential and commercial markets. We remain dedicated to manufacturing products that feature superior performance, durability, are easy to install and widely available.

Significantly grow the global water business by focusing on stormwater and drip irrigation targeting residential and commercial markets worldwide.

Mobility & New Energy

Tailored fluid handling, connecting and fastening solutions that meet our OEM customers’ specific requirements. Solutions for all drive types. We find ways to optimize the efficiency and safety of media transport, e.g. in battery thermal management solutions, inductive charging systems and H2 media management.

Optimize and enhance our existing products – balance market uncertainty – understand the market requirements and invest in appropriate innovation.
